CTC M12 Connectors Explained

CTC M12 Connectors Explained

CTC's line of M12 connectors has been a standard connector for many types of industrial instrumentation, especially in Europe.

Typically, M12 connectors are used in sensor buses and field buses and are in some cases replacing MIL-5015 2 pin connectors.

M12 connectors are sometimes more readily available at a lower cost due to a large number of applications outside of the vibration industry.

Some of CTC's most popular top and side exit sensors are now available with a four-pin M12 connector:

AC102-M12A - top exit accelerometer, 100 mV/g

AC104-M12A - side exit accelerometer, 100 mV/g

TR102-M12A - top exit RTD sensor, 100 mV/g

TR104-M12A - side exit RTD sensor, 100 mV/g

TR133-M12A - top exit RTD sensor, 500 mV/g

TR134-M12A - side exit RTD sensor, 500 mV/g

TA202-M12A - top exit dual output sensor, 100 mV/g and 10 mV/°C

TA204-M12A - side exit dual output sensor, 100 mV/g and 10 mV/°C

TA284-M12A - side exit dual output sensor, 100 mV/g and 10 mV/°C

TA412-M12A - top exit low power dual output sensor, 25 mV/g and 10 mV/°C

TA414-M12A - side exit low power dual output sensor, 25 mV/g and 10 mV/°C
