RMS, Peak, and Peak to Peak Explained
RMS, Peak, and Peak to Peak are commonly used to express the amplitude value for each signal or frequency. Here is a definition of these terms:
The RMS value is expressed from 0 to 70.7% of the peak amplitude.
The Peak to Peak value is expressed from the peak to peak amplitude.
The Peak value is expressed from 0 to the peak amplitude. The spectrum value uses the suffix “Peak” to denote this.
