It features an IEPE bias indicator light on the front panel as well as a convenient flip down panel to organize and hide wiring. The bias indicator light enables the analyst to check the connection of the sensor prior to taking readings. When power is sent to the sensor through the data analyzer, there is a settling time (or turn on time). This settling time is typically just a couple seconds, but you do not want to take a reading before the sensor is fully settled to ensure accurate data. The indicator has LED lights for green (good to take a reading), yellow (wait to take a reading), and red (which indicates that there may be an issue with the connection or a short).
