Mounting Hardware, Adapters, and VibeNavigator™ Extension Poles
CTC offers a variety of mounting studs, adapters, and adhesive and stud-mounted sensor mounting pads. Magnet mounting pad options for portable field applications are also available, including flat and two-rail mounting configurations. Additionally, we offer specialty mounting accessories for fin-cooled motors as well as a variety of extension adapters and VibeNavigator™ Data Collection Extension Poles which allow access to traditionally hard-to-reach bearing locations.
Flat Surface Mounting Magnets:
Flat surface magnets are easy to use and offer a secure attachment, making them ideal for applications where the machine surface is relatively flat and free of curves or irregularities. All flat surface magnets are neodymium iron boron rare earth magnets in a durable 17-4 stainless steel case.
Multipurpose Mounting Magnets:
Multipurpose magnets, also known as two-rail or curved surface magnets, feature magnetic legs that mount to flat or curved surfaces. Multipurpose magnets are neodymium iron boron rare earth magnets in a rugged 303 stainless steel case.
Mounting Pads and Magnet Targets:
Adhesive mounting pads are designed for use in permanent monitoring applications when it is not safe to tap into the the machine, or when a perfectly flat surface cannot be obtained for stud mounting. They may also be used for portable measurements to create a flat target to attract a magnet on a machine. Magnetic mounting targets create a consistent measurement location for magnet-mounted accelerometers on machines that are not magnetically attractive.

Accelerometer Quick Disonnects:
Quick disconnects are ideally suited for triaxial sensor use. The permanently-mounted stud creates a consistent mounting location for portable routes. The receptacle features a triaxial locating notch and 1/4-turn engagement onto the stud, ensuring the sensor is oriented in the same position for every reading.
Motor Fin Mount Pads:
Take measurements in tough-to-reach places. Our fin mount probes are perfect for narrow measurement points in fin-cooled motors. Once installed, fin mounts can be used to attract a magnet for portable-route measurements or permanently-mounted accelerometers.
VibeNavigator™ Data Collector Extension Poles:
CTC's VibeNavigator™ data collection extension poles are designed for use with CTC's single-axis sensors, TCEB Series circular triaxial accelerometers, and Emerson/CSI A0643TX triaxial sensor. The extension pole comes in a variety of lengths, with up to 12 ft total reach, and features an integrated breakaway safety feature to protect analysts from getting caught up in dangerous equipment.
