CB103 Product Improvement Notice

CTC is pleased to announce an upgrade to our CB103 Polyurethane jacketed cable. All CTC CB103 cables manufactured after the first quarter of 2020 will have a new filler cord material in the cable. The previous filler material, Kevlar, will now be replaced with polypropylene material. The polypropylene provides a more flexible filler for the cable compared to the previous Kevlar filling and provides ease of installation when stripping the filler cord from the jacket, as well as improved lifespan through bending strain relief on portable measurements and permanent mount applications that experience repetitive back and forth motion. All products that use CB103 cables will be updated. This includes, but is not limited to, integral cables, data collector cables, and permanent mount cables that utilize CB103 cable.
