SB252: Stainless Steel Switch Box with Continuous Output BNC's
The SB252 stainless steel switch box with continuous output BNCs is used to convert the two-conductor wiring of up to 12 remotely installed single-axis accelerometers or piezo velocity sensors to BNC connectors for simultaneous data collection via a portable data collection unit. The SB252 also allows for single sensor data collection via a switched BNC and two-pin MIL spec connector. Input wiring from each sensor is connected via quick-connect terminal blocks. Each terminal block includes input for positive, negative and shield. The shield drain wire is earth grounded via the stainless steel enclosure.
Rated for NEMA 4X (IP66), the SB252 Series can withstand harsh environments including temperatures ranging from -40 to 212 °F (-40 to 100 °C). The box is also resistant to hose directed fluid and corrosion. A snap latch is installed on the door allowing the box to be sealed from the elements when not in use.
