All CTC Connect Sensors ship with a battery contained inside the equipment. The shipping of batteries is tightly regulated under various international and national guidelines to ensure safety. If you have not undergone the necessary steps to ensure compliance with the appropriate requirements, CTC Connect products must be shipped directly from CTC to the end use destination.
CTC ConnectSens Sensors are classified as UN3091 Section II. CTC Connect Replacement Battery Packs are classified as UN3090 Section IB.
CTC ConnectSens Sensors being returned for RMA must have the battery pack removed prior to shipping back to CTC.
